Magda Drozd and Claudia Stöckli work with fragments of voices from the past and the present. Like waves of the sea the claim for the freedom of speech meets the encouragement to think and act free and floats through sounds, music, loops and layers. New connections are made, desire outspoken, wishes imagined, overlaps built and gaps searched to rewrite history and to play with narratives.
The work was shown at Depot Basel, Reto Art Space ZHdK, Walcheturm Zürich in 2016. Japan Tour in Tokyo, Kamakura, Yokohama and Kyoto in October 2017.
